ACT 2: LOVE
LOVE talks to us about social distancing, individualism, loneliness, and the inability to relate to one another.
We are social beings who need contact with others; we need to look at each other, touch each other, get close to each other, feel each other, hug each other, and kiss each other more.
In a narcissistic, individualistic society with high emotional disconnection, it is essential to seek new ways of relating that bring us closer, connect us, and allow us to question what the new paradigm is regarding how we relate to acquaintances and strangers.
We observe that some of these actions are becoming less frequent and some are even being lost. We believe that these acts can now more than ever help us reconnect with ourselves and our emotions, to be more empathetic with others and our environment.
This project is an ode to love as a possible solution to heal and transform our fears and seek new ways of relating to ourselves and others. We stand up for love as a revolutionary artistic act and want to bring it to the stage through an art that transforms us.
