We are a multidisciplinary team, and we are motivated to combine and experiment with the tools that each of us brings, and seek alchemies that can encourage participation, connection, and engagement in a sensitive way that can expand the boundaries of creativity.

The core creative team is created by Rosita Luz Calvi, Quim Moya andSergi Estebanell, and we have a team of advisors from the fields of creativity, technical, psychology, social transformation, technology, therapeutic, among others.

Sergi Estebanell

Artistic direction of the project, creative and performer

For 25 years, I have devoted myself to the world of art and culture from a social and transformative perspective. I believe in being an artist convinced that art should serve people and social transformation. I try to create stage devices that allow us to move, transgress, capture the present, and ask ourselves important questions to try to find the answers.

 

I am a co-founder of Escena Poblenou Festival, the Kamtchatka company, the Money for Free collective, and the deSHAKERS collective. I am the artistic director of Pallapupas (hospital clowns), trainer, artistic accompanist for various artists and collectives, and creative advisor for Fundació Carulla.

Throughout my career, I have focused on the realm of humor and street arts for social transformation. I have created, directed, and accompanied over 50 productions that have traveled to more than 30 different countries.

Awarded with various prizes:

  • MAX Award for the ALTER show.
  • Best Show at the Gent Festival (Belgium) for the Kamtxatka show.
  • Best Street Show, Barcelona Critics’ Awards for the Money for Free show.
  • Sebastià Guasch Award and Ciutat de Barcelona Medal of Honor for the creation of the Escena de Poblenou contemporary creation festival.
  • Research Grants: SOS Cultura, Generalitat de Catalunya, Fira Tàrrega, and Institut Ramon Llull.

Rosita Luz Calvi

Creative of the project, therapeutic accompaniment, and performer

She is an actress and integrative body therapist, she is studying Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy, SAT Program, and Gestalt.

 

With over ten years of artistic career, she has focused on physical theater, performance, clown, social theater, and human relationships. She has worked in hospitals and nursing homes for over 8 years as a clown with the Pallapupas organization and other entities.

 

Des de 2019 al 2023 a treballat com actriu creadora amb la Cia Anna Confetti, amb l’obra “A la fresca”, teatre còmic de carrer, guanyadora dels premis Zirkolika com a millor espectacle de pallasses de l’any 2021 ha fet més de 300 actuacions per Catalunya, Espanya i diferents Festivals Internacionals.

 

From 2019 to 2023, she worked as a creator actress with the Anna Confetti Company, with the play A la fresca street comical theater, winner of the Zirkolika awards for best clown show of the year 2021, having performed over 300 shows in Catalonia, Spain, and various international festivals.

 

Since 2014, she has collaborated with experimental filmmaker Natalia Lucia on visual projects. In 2021, they developed Despacio project, a performance with pieces of video art in Super 8 format. Residency at Can Felipa 2021/2022.

 

She currently directs the Constel·lació 8 Collective, alongside Natalia Lucia, a proposal that combines visual arts, territory work, and the creation of spaces of trust and intimacy by recovering Super 8 family cinema material. With the collective, she works on approaching the material and creating an experimental film through workshops with the elderly people. 3 minuts project, Art and Territory Residency at Cal Gras 2023.

She has participated in the Neurotransmissors workshop by the Fundació Épica Fura dels Baus, which combines science and performing arts with a final showcase of a collective creation. April 2023.

She is also associated with the Deshaker collective, formed by a group of artists who carry out creative actions on the street with the aim of shaking up the environment we live in.

Quim Moya

Creative, visual artist and performer

Trained as a graphic designer, he worked as a designer and illustrator in various studios and publications. Also as a cultural ambassador, in the public, private, and associative spheres. He has served as a Cultural Technician at the Sallent Town Hall, Coordinator of the pedagogical action at Idensitat, Co-director of the Cal Gras Artists’ Residence in Avinyó. He is the Artistic Director of the TEST Festival and is part of the La Caixa de vidre collective (with Oriol Segon and Quim Torres), carrying out community projects.
As an artist and visual creator, he has exhibited in various locations in Spain and Andorra. Since 2008, he has been performing live painting shows across Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa, and the USA. He has participated in different international festivals like Fira de Tàrrega, Tollwood (Munich), Ansan Fest (South Korea) or the Summer Stage (New York). He has also painted in TV shows like Got Talent Rumania, TV3, Tele5, Cuatro, etc. He has shared stage with artists like Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Rita Ora, Álex Ubago, Els Gossos, Ovidi 4, Ravid Goldschmidt,etc. He has painted for Lewis Hamilton, Dan Brown, Rafa Nadal, etc.
